Ridgewell Preserve Details
Though only totaling 46 acres, five miles of trails run across the Ridgewell Preserve. Traversing some rocky crests and hills, the moderate routes are mostly forested, with a few views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Seguin Island about two miles out to sea. History here is linked back to the remnants of old settlements found throughout the preserve woods. A pond is also accessible along the trails, as are the distinct "Dinosaur Rocks," massive boulders appearing like sleeping, mythical giants.
