Abol Pond Trail Details
Typically accessed from the Abol Beach Day-use area, the trail can be hiked as a part of a loop with other trails. Follow the Appalachian and Blueberry Ledges Trail, turning right onto Blueberry Ledges trail at .3 miles. At a half mile, turn right onto the Abol Pond trail, which follows an old road between two small beaver ponds. At a road intersection ,the trail goes left, then branches sharply right onto a woods trail and a steep descent into the valley. After crossing two foot bridges, and upon reaching an old tote road bear left (to the east). The trail terminates at Abol Pond Road and the Abol Beach Day-use area.
