Jordan Pond Gate House Details

This gate lodge was built in 1932 in the French Romanesque Revival style at the point where Acadia's motor roads and carriage roads intersect. There are many interesting features that can be observed when exploring this location. See if you can spot such whimsical details as the birdhouses in the garage gable and the letter 'A' carved into the shutters in honor of architect Grosvenor Atterbury.
