Jordan Stream Loop Details
Trail Type: Easy Distance: 2 miles This pretty carriage-road trail following Jordan Stream also doubles as a popular cross-country ski trail during the winter months. From the Jordan Pond parking lot, the trail heads south through to Jordan Pond Gate to Post 16. Traveling right and bearing left at Post 15, the trail begins a series of steep descents that follow along the edge of the stream. The trail turns right at Post 23, and again at Post 24, and leaves the Park for private lands that are open to Park visitors. The trail crosses the iconic Cobblestone Bridge shortly thereafter and turns right at Post 32. A right at Post 21 takes the trail along a steep climb to the Cliffside Bridge, from which there are pretty views of Jordan Pond House and Little Long Pond. The trail continues to the West Branch Bridge and Post 14, where a right turn returns it to the trailhead.
