Emery Path Details
This path starts near Sieur de Monts Nature Center and was formally known as Dorr Mountain East Face Trail. The hundreds upon hundreds of stone steps follow a series of switchbacks along the base of steep, shaded granite cliffs before heading into more sparsely wooded, exposed areas. Almost immediately, the forest opens for great views over Huguenot Head and Champlain Mountain. The path becomes steeper as the trail ascends and the views become bigger and better as the trail reaches its terminus at Dorr Mountain summit.
