Kipahulu Visitor Center Details
The coastal Kipahulu section of Haleakala National Park has its own visitor center, where you can pick up information about hiking trails to the coast, waterfalls, and a bamboo forest as well as advisories about the popular (but occasionally hazardous) Ohe'o Gulch area. You can also get information on the Kipahula campground and enjoy cultural and historic exhibits, or pick up a souvenir at the visitor center's store. There are accessible parking spaces and restrooms near the Kipahulu Visitor Center as well.
