Vickery Creek Trail Details
There is a lot of history to discover along this 4.7-mile trail. You will wind along the banks of the creek, soaking in the rich surroundings of the tree-covered woods until you arrive at the ruins of the Rosewell Mill. Built in the early 1800s, this was once the largest cotton mill in the entire state, although it later expanded to produce wool and flour. It shut down in 1975 and is kept alive by intrigued hikers who wander across its path. In addition to the mill, you will also get to see a covered bridge and the Roswell Mill waterfall during your trek.
