Suwanee Greenway Details
Escape the crowds and city life of Atlanta and head north to Gwinnett County for this peaceful trail. There is only one road crossing the entire way, which means you can enjoy nature without making multiple stops at intersections or streetlights. Although most of the trail is flat and paved, part of it is on wooden boardwalks that extend over ponds and creeks. The croaking frogs and chirping crickets are a welcomed chorus compared to the city noise. If you are lucky, you might also see a few turtles of fish lurking in the shallow waters of the marshes.
