Moccasin Creek State Park Details

Moccasin Creek State Park is small, only 32-acres, and sits in the middle of the Chattahoochee Forest on the shore of Lake Burton. The nearby fish hatchery formerly managed the area, but because of its flat layout and a prime location for boating, kayaking, and other watersports the area became busy and was turned over to park management. The Lake Burton Fish Hatchery is open to the public for educational purposes, and the lake is open to fishing for the children, elderly, and those with disability cards.
