The first waterfall is Blue Hole Falls, which is roughly one mile from the start of the trailhead. Because of its easy accessibility, this waterfall is very popular with swimmers, campers, and hikers, who come to cool off in the 10-foot-deep pool at the base of the falls. If you are looking for someplace less crowded, continue along the trail until you reach the larger and more impressive High Shoals Creek Falls. The pool is smaller, but it is a much more scenic place to go swimming.
