Marble Mine Trail Details

Visit James Floyd State Park and wander through this abandoned mine. Although there is not much to see of the mine itself, the surroundings of trickling waterfalls, twisted vines, and a translucently blue body of water make the journey worth it. There is a boardwalk that stretches over the pool and under the carved mine cave, so you can experience the beauty of the sight first hand. The entire trail is just 1.7 miles round trip, so it is a fun, fast-paced hike that is ideal for all types of visitors.
