Observation Tower Details
At the halfway point on the Tram Trail stands a 45-foot-tall Observation Tower that provides panoramic views of the Everglades. Beneath the tower, there's a water hole that is pretty reliably filled with gators for your viewing pleasure. A gradual ramp provides those with wheelchairs or mobility issues easy access, and every point around the tower has a different view. There are no picnic tables around the observation tower, but benches lining the path here make it a good place to stop and eat lunch.
