Bobcat Boardwalk Details

The Bobcat Boardwalk Trail is located off the tram road at Shark Valley. The trail, which is self-guided, snakes through a sawgrass slough and a hardwood forest. The boardwalk section leads across a bayhead, which is a small island of trees that grows just above the sawgrass but below the elevation what's needed to support a hardwood hummock. Because of it's short distance but plentiful scenery, Bobcat Boardwalk is a great hike for those who are short on time. The trail is wheelchair-accessible.
