Flamingo Campground Details
You can camp on a Florida beach for just $20 a night at the Flamingo Campground, which has 234 drive-up campsites on Florida Bay, including 55 with water views and nine sites right on the water. Sites with no electrical hookups are $20 per night; the 41 sites that have electrical hookups are $30 per night. The campground also has three walk-in group campsites (maximum 15 people) on the edge of Florida Bay, and 65 RV sites. Campground amenities include solar-heated showers, dump stations, picnic tables, grills, and an amphitheater for winter programs. The Flamingo Visitor Center and a marina with a store, restaurant, and boat rentals is nearby, as are hiking and canoe trails. Campsites are available by reservation at [ReserveAmerica](http://www.reserveamerica.com/). Sites fill up quickly in the busy winter season (mid-November to mid-April); reservations are not needed in the summer, but flooding often closes some sites in the campground during the wet season.
