Guy Bradley Trail Details
Plenty of birds and butterflies can be seen on the Guy Bradley trail, which meanders its way one mile down the shore of Florida Bay. The trail is named for Audobon warden Guy Bradley, who was killed in 1905 while trying to protect a South Florida bird breeding colony. The trail can also be used as a scenic shortcut between the Flamingo Visitor Center and the Flamingo Campground. Expect great views of the keys in Florida Bay around halfway down the trail. Unless the Flamingo Campground is your final destination, turn around here to head back to the trailhead. The trail is wheelchair-accessible and bike friendly, so be aware that you may be sharing the trail with cyclists.
