Jackson Lake Details
This awesome lake in northern Colorado near Orchard attracts thousands of tourists each year. It is over 3,300-acres wide which means it is suitable for most water-based activities like boating, fishing, and swimming. Because the lake is relatively shallow, the waters are easily heated up by the sun making them warmer than most other swimming holes in the area. There is not a specific swimming beach per se, however, most swimmers will choose to head to the west shore near the no-wake zone. Here, you will not have to worry about boaters or large waves to distract you from enjoying your swim.
