Eleven Mile State Park Details

A Park County classic, this 5.5 mile, 405-acre reservoir is a site to behold. With 5 miles of hiking trails, bicyclists and hikers can enjoy the area's wildlife, including cottontail rabbits, pronghorn, and the occasional badger. But this park is most notably a fisherman's haven. Most famous for the Kokanee salmon, anglers call the north side of the reservoir the Dream Stream. Other fish species include rainbow, cutthroat, and brown trout and northern pike. You can get a day pass for your car at the entrance, and certain fishing limitations apply. The visitor center, marina and more than 300 campsites with facilities at Eleven Mile State Park creates the perfect weekend getaway for fisherman and outdoor families alike.
