Long Draw Details
Long Draw, formally referred to as the "Devil's Slide," offers a unique inner-canyon descent. Unlike most inner-canyon trails that are in open, visible areas, Low Draw drops over the rim and quickly disappears into a narrow, dark part of the canyon that amplifies the sounds of hikers' voices. The trail itself is accessed from the Balanced Rock Overlook on the North Rim. As on the S.O.B. Draw Route, poison ivy is highly prevalent here, especially at the very bottom of the descent, so proceed with caution.
