Davison Trail Details
Popular for both hiking and biking, the Davison Trail begins at a marked trailhead in the Elk Meadow Day Use Area. It can also be accessed via the Steelow Trail or at the south end of Elk Prairie off Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway. The trail follows a former logging road that once lead to a mill. The park service has been restoring this area from its logging days, and it's now a thriving ecosystem where you'll pass wetlands, creeks, forests, and stands of redwoods. You can also choose to connect to the Lost Man Creek, Trillium Falls, and Elk Prairie trails. The Davison Trail is 3 miles one way.
