Trillium Falls Trail Details

Trillium Falls, a pleasant 10-foot cascade over moss-covered rocks, is the crown jewel of this short hike. But the rest of the walk is gorgeous too - white trillium, a spring wildflower, grows along a creek in the dusky, damp understory of the stately redwoods that make up the canopy. Start this trail at the marked trailhead at Elk Meadow Day Use Area, off Davison Road. The trail is a 2.8-mile loop, including a section on a dirt road at the end.
