Warren Peak Trail Details
On the western edge of the Little San Bernardino Mountains is Warren Peak. The strenuous 5.5-mile roundtrip hike to the 5,103-foot summit begins amidst Joshua Trees and progresses upward through pinyon pines to offer a panoramic view. Ascending the ridgeline east of the peak, the trail takes a somewhat steep and rugged climb to the summit. Once there, hikers are rewarded with a great view of the Mojave Desert to the north and Coachella Valley to the south, as well as views of Mount San Jacinto and Mount San Gorgonio. The trailhead for this 5.5-mile out-and-back hike is in the Black Rock Campground parking area. Park at the campground visitor center; the trailhead is to the left of campsite 30.
