Black Rock Nature Center Details
The Black Rock Nature Center serves as the principal visitor center for travelers to the northwestern, Black Rock area of the park. In addition to exhibits on the natural history of the park, the visitor center has Rangers on hand to answer questions, a bookstore run by the Joshua Tree National Park Association, restrooms, a picnic area, and drinking water. It is open October through May, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily (and until 8 p.m. on Friday nights). The center is located at the Black Rock Campground; phone 760-367-3001.
