Scotty's Grave Details

This half-mile (one way) trail to the top of Windy Point takes visitors to the gravesite of Death Valley Scotty and his faithful dog, Windy. The gravesite is marked with a plaque honoring Scotty, a swindler turned beloved local figure. The gravesite overlooks Scotty's Castle. NOTE: Due to historic flooding in November 2015, the Scotty's Castle are sustained heavy damage to roads and infrastructure and is closed to visitors until further notice.
