Sea Lion Rookery Trail Details

From the island visitor center in Landing Cove, take this trail south for a mile. You'll come to an overlook that allows you to peer down on the sunning sea lions below. A quick mile hike and you're right back where you started. Restrooms and a campsite can also be found in Landing Cove. Portions of the trail are subject to closure when pelicans are nesting January through August, and hikers are required to stay on the trails for their own safety and to protect vegetation and nesting seabirds.
