Black Mountain Trail Details

From the Cherry Canyon Trail, follow Soledad Road southwest to a long, steep climb up Black Mountain. The reward for reaching the top is breathtaking views of three of Channel Islands National Park's other islands -- Santa Rosa, San Miguel and Santa Cruz -- as well as the mainland (weather permitting). Once you have finished gazing, continue the loop to Telephone Road, back to the Cherry Canyon Trail and to the pier. Of course, this loop trail may be done in reverse, too.
