Smith Highway Details

From the pier in Bechers Bay, Smith Highway traverses the north side of Santa Rosa Island and is the access to the Lobo Canyon Trail, which leads to Lobo Canyon and the island's rugged north coastline. Along the way, you'll pass the island visitor center and restrooms, both close to the pier. Keep in mind that day trips to Santa Rosa Island via Island Packers, the park-authorized concessionaire, are available only April through early November.
