Hot Springs Mountain Drive offers the main scenic access to the eastern portion of the park on Hot Springs Mountain. Drivers can access the route from Fountain Street and head east into the park. About 1/4-mile from the Fountain Street entrance is the intersection with Hot Springs Mountain Drive to the right. The winding loop road offers a few scenic overlooks, as well as access to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, which provides great vistas of the surrounding area (for an admission fee). There's a parking area on this road for Gulpha Gorge Trail, as well as Hot Springs Mountain Trail. Drivers will eventually come to the North Mountain Loop Road and then reconnect with Fountain Street heading west to exit the park.
