Both tent and caravan camping are available at Castlerigg Farm Campsite, in Keswick overlooking Derwent Water and near Bassenthwaite Lake and the surrounding valleys. The tent-camping field offers sites on a first-come-first-served basis, with no reservations accepted. There are, however, some electric hookups for tents and trailer tents and these can be booked in advance. The sites are family friendly (no group bookings), and quiet hours begin at 10:30 p.m. Reservations are accepted for caravan camping, and each site features electrical hookups. There's also a gypsy caravan available for nightly rental. Campground amenities include Wi-Fi, a cafe, toilets and showers, a shop and recreation area, laundry facilities, a dish-washing area, battery-charging facilities and a dog-walking area.
