This easy walk takes you along the quiet shores of Derwent Water and through Brandelhow Park, the first of Britain's National Trust lands in the Lake District. You'll begin at the Hawes End Jetty and head south along the lakeshore and into the park. Upon reaching High Brandelhow Jetty, you'll turn inland to loop back north, passing the Hawes End Adventure Centre; look for signs for Hawes End Jetty -- where excursion boats operate seasonally -- to complete the loop.
