Garfield Peak Trail Details
For panoramic views of Crater Lake and the surrounding cliffs, hike Garfield Peak. A 1.7-mile trail (one way) takes you up roughly 1,000 feet along the northwestern ridge line of Garfield Peak, to a scenic overlook of the lake including views of Phantom Ship and the southern side of the park. The trail takes a total of about two to three hours round trip, and is one of the more popular hikes in the park due to its proximity to Rim Village and the Crater Lake Lodge.
