Just three hundred yards away from the Rim Visitor Center, on the rim of Crater Lake, stands Crater Lake Lodge, one of the more luxurious options for lodging and dining in Crater Lake National Park. The lodge was first opened in 1915, and renovated in 1995. The Crater Lake Lodge Dining Room, which overlooks the lake from the south, is open to all park visitors. The restaurant features a menu of Oregon-grown foods and locally produced wine and cheese. It is open for three meals a day from mid May through mid October.
