Tolmie Peak Details
Tolmie Peak, located 2 miles northwest of Mowich Lake in the northwestern corner of the park, rises up to 5,940 feet. It has sharp pinnacles of basalt that provide a dramatic backdrop for Eunice Lake. The peak is named after William Fraser Tolmie, who made the first recorded exploration of Mount Rainier.
