Dante's Ridge Trail Details
The Dante's Ridge Trail becomes increasingly difficult as you go: it's moderate for the initial 1/2 mile, then gets harder if you keep going the next 3.5 miles of up-and-down hiking (with no real trail) to the summit of Mt. Perry. Most people go only as far as Dante's View, which offers amazing views of the valley. You return the way you came: this is an out-and-back trail starting at the Dante's View parking area. A nice hike for cooling off when the valley temperatures get uncomfortable, Dante's Ridge can be climbed year-round.
