Center Ridge Trail Details

From the Pogy Notch Trail junction, the trail ascends steeply, following ledges across the face of a ridge. The steep climb continues, and footing is difficult. The summit offers excellent views of Katahdin and the Wassataquoik Valley and the trail ends at "Peak of the Ridges." Estimated time is 8 hours roudn trip to South Branch Pond Campground.
