South Branch Mountain Trail Details
The trail leads the Lower South Branch Pond near the ranger cabin. Crossing ledges and ridges, the trail leads to the partially wooded North Peak before descending and ascending to the South Peak. Descending, the trail passes through open meadows before descending steeply for nearly 1 mile. The trail continues over bog bridges before reaching the terminus at a trail junction with Pogy Notch trail.
