Bryce Point Details
For the most sweeping views of Bryce Amphitheater, head to Bryce Point: it's an especially impressive viewpoint at sunrise -- perhaps even more spectacular than what's you'll see at Sunrise Point. As the sun breaks the horizon the tops of Bryce Canyon's reddish hoodoos light up, slowly emerging from the darkness as the sun rises into the morning sky. Hiking options at Bryce Point include the Peek-a-boo Loop Trail (perhaps the park's best day-hiking route) as well as the 23-mile Under-the-Rim Trail, a backcountry route that also has a trailhead here.
