Giant Forest Museum Details

Giant Forest Museum is the perfect starting for grove visits and offers some educational insight and history of Giant Forest and its sequoias. You can easily hop on a self-guiding trail right from the museum to Round Meadow and Hazelwood. Previously the Giant Forest market building, the building was renovated in 1999 and opened as a museum and visitor center in 2001. The building, and the former Giant Forest market, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Next to the museum, you'll find the Beetle Rock building which has both an auditorium and classroom run the by Sequoia Parks Conservancy. You'll also find restrooms here should you need them.
