Grinnell Lake Trail Details

You can start this hike at the Many Glacier Hotel, or you can shave off about 5 miles of round-trip hiking by taking a boat shuttle and starting your hike from the dock. Grinnell Lake is a pristine alpine lake. The hike will take you near several other glacial-fed lakes and offers a short hike to Hidden Falls. It adds on about half a mile to visit the 25-foot waterfall "hidden" in a deep gorge. Even if you choose to bypass the boat and do the entire trail there is little elevation change, making this an easy hike. Glacier is grizzly country. Carry bear spray, make noise and travel in groups. The trailhead is at the Many Glacier Hotel Boat Dock.
