Jordan Stream Trail Details
This trail follows the stream that, depending on the season and the weather, varies from a lively rushing river to a tranquil trickle in a rocky streambed. Originally used by Native Americans, the level path was later adapted by the Seal Harbor Village Improvement Association as a scenic way of traveling between Jordan Pond House and the village. The stunning Cobblestone Bridge, made in 1917 entirely from stones found on the island, is certainly evidence of both the Association's and the Park's achievements. You can make a return trip along the famous carriage roads.
