Sagebrush, buckwheat, and Mexican elderberries grow rampant, while walnut and sycamore trees provide much-needed shade from the heat. While it is a popular destination for hiking, it also happens to be a sacred site for the Tongva, Chumash, and Tataviam Native American tribes. You will also find the 500-acre Spahn Ranch, a popular movie set and the former home of the Manson Family.
