There are also several walking trails that lead around the lagoons and sandy dunes. The park is also home to the Pismo State Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove. In fall and winter, you can visit the grove to see over 10,000 butterflies who nest in the Eucalyptus trees along the coast for the winter.
