Adams Falls Details

Departing from the East Inlet Trailhead, this pretty, short trail leads to an overlook of the 55-foot falls. The easy, level path follows a bubbling stream through a mixed evergreen forest that occasionally opens up for narrow views of the peaks in the distance before reaching the boulder-lined falls. The falls are composed of two major cascades that roar through jagged rock chutes and over worn boulders, and are best view during early summer when the melting mountain snows make the highest water levels. The trail also continues a short distance beyond the falls to a large, quiet, grassy valley that is a popular picnicking and moose-spotting destination.
