Kingsland Bay State Park Details

This park is extremely popular with the locals for its sweeping lake views and well-maintained outdoor facilities. Although the entire park is over 260 acres, most of it is centered around the shoreline of Lake Champlain, where visitors can spend the day swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, boating, and fishing. Near the lake, you will also find the historic Hawley House, which dates back to 1790. The house is most famously known as the main site of Ecole Champlain girls summer camp from 1924 until the late 1960s.
