One of Georgia's largest state parks, Chattahoochee Bend State Park, boasts five miles of river frontage and is an easily accessible, and very popular, location for swimming, paddling, and fishing. Boating and tubing are not recommended as the river hosts many hidden underwater logs, trees, and steep banks with few access points. Here there are over 12 miles of hiking trails and 3.2 miles of biking paths running through the 2,910 acres of forest.
