South Fulton Scenic Byway Details

Located in the outskirts of Atlanta, this 29-mile loop is actually four individual roads (Cochran Mill Road, Hutcheson Ferry Road, and State Highway 70). However, each one is incredibly diverse and packed with natural beauty. When you have nothing but wildflower fields, tree-lined forests, and babbling streams and brooks stretching for miles outside your window, it is hard to believe you are still in Fulton County. There will be a few scattered buildings and farmhouses along the way, although the main sights of the Chattahoochee River, Cochran Mill Park, and Cochran Mill Nature Center are more geared towards nature lovers.
