Fort Massac State Park Details

Fort Massac State Park overlooks the Ohio River from the southern end of Illinois. The park is almost 1,500 acres is a peaceful location for picnics, camping, hiking, fishing, and boating, golfing and seasonal hunting programs. The park has a 1-mile trail that is designated as a Forest Watch Tree Identification Trail. The park is also known for festivals each October and interpretative programs that are offered year round.
