Sewell Woods Details
As the original owner of Sewell Woods, Albert G. Sewell took advantage of the copious amounts of white pine, spruce, maple, beech, and balsam fir trees to establish Sewell Woods Products. To manufacture his large inventory, he built several mills that made everything from shoe racks to lobster traps. In 1996 the 35-acre property was donated to the Scarborough Land Trust and now has a mile of walking trails running along streams and waterfalls for the public's enjoyment.
