As Maine's largest salt marsh, ecology learning along the Scarborough Marsh Nature Trail provides ample opportunities for learning and exploring. Although a short walking trail of only .3 miles, the path provides visitors with guided and self-guided tour opportunities to learn about the unique ecology of the 3,100-acre wetlands, as well as the opportunity to walk along the remnants of a canal dug during the American Revolution.
