Sylvan Details
Sylvan Trail is named after the "woodland" that it runs through. Named by a farmer that once resided here, Merritt Gay, a walk along this easy 1.7-mile loop will bring guests through a variety of soft and hardwood trees. First passing near the highway, the trail quickly turns away from the noise to follow an old logging road before opening up to field views of the local farms. At any time of year, this is a beautiful trail, though spring and summer will entice walkers with the smell of cut grass, and the fall with colorful changing leaves.
