Middle Goosefare Trail is a surprisingly serene walk along a network of routes only a few feet from US Route 1. Consisting of a handful of short pathways, the trail system here is excellent for a quick jaunt through the woods, a stopover on a road trip, or as an afternoon stroll. The landscape varies depending on the area with a few sites of historic interest as well. Anton Hahn, once the town butcher, built his cabin and dam out here back in the 1900s, and still able to be seen today are the remnants of that past not so long forgotten.
